Does La-Z-Boy Really Offer Free Interior Design Services?
La-Z-Boy Southeast | June 7, 2017
The first time people hear about the La-Z-Boy Interior Design Program, they often think it’s too good to be true.
They can’t imagine an interior designer will guide you through the process of furnishing your home, listen to your style and color preferences, and then come up with design options based around your budget for free.
At La-Z-Boy Southeast, our team has completed thousands of interior design projects for our clients in NC, SC, and GA.
Working with a La-Z-Boy Interior Designer makes the experience of furnishing your home as comfortable as possible.
Here’s what you can expect when you consult with a degreed interior designer for free:
First, you’ll meet with your personal interior designer in-store to discuss your home décor goals. Whether it’s style, color, size, function, or comfort. We’ll help you pick the items that meet your needs best.
Next, your interior designer will offer to arrange a time to visit your home. During the visit, you’ll look through fabrics and product suggestions pulled specifically for you.
This meeting will also give your designer an opportunity to observe scale, traffic flow, and design features.
Complimentary Design Plan
Your designer will put together a 3D design plan after your in-home consultation. This will help you visualize what your newly furnished room will look like. Allowing you to feel comfortable with any purchases you make.
Now, you get to decide if you want to watch the room come together or wait for the reveal. Your interior designer will handle every detail of bringing your new room to life.
These services include:
- Overseeing white-glove delivery: Your interior designer will schedule and track the shipment of your new home décor and furniture by our white-glove delivery team.
- Monitoring placement of your furniture: Your interior designer will guide our white-glove delivery team on the placement of your home décor and furniture.
- Styling and accessorizing the room: Your interior designer will put the finishing touch on the room by styling and accessorizing the room to perfection.
Our job isn’t over until you’re happy with the look of your new furniture.
How Do I Design My Family Room?
When Camille with Six Sisters’ Stuff was having trouble decorating her new home, she turned to La-Z-Boy for help.
In this excerpt from Camille’s article “How To Design A Family Room – My Experience with La-Z-Boy” she talks about how La-Z-Boy took the hassle out of furnishing her home:
“I met the amazing Jill and a couple other members of the interior design team at La-Z-Boy and we talked about the colors that I liked (I learned how much I love nautical colors) and found other decorated rooms that inspired me. We also talked about the layout of the room and then I let Jill do her magic.
She led me around the store and let me try out different types of furniture and see different examples of styles we could make or fabric we could use…
She came up with a design that she felt would fit my needs… It was amazing! I had just always pictured having an oversized sectional that wrapped around the room as the only way to maximize the number of seats in my family room, but she showed me that by having a smaller sectional and 3 chairs, the overall flow of the room was so much more open and made it easier to walk around.
The wonderful thing about La-Z-Boy is no matter what you purchase, whether it’s just one chair or an entire room, you get the same amazing service and the free in-home design experts to help you out.”
